Important Notice To All Customers

Our clearing firm, Computer Clearing Services (CCS), has been acquired by Penson Financial Services (Penson). Unless CCS receives other instructions in writing from you, Penson will automatically become your clearing firm on or around the weekend of October 15, 2005.

Of particular interest to our clients is that Penson provides immediate access to international markets, a highly functional proprietary trading platform, a wider selection of financial products, the availability of electronic automatic transfer services, and more.

CCS has mailed you the following documents to you. If you haven’t received them, you may click the text links above to download the documents.

After October 15, 2005, a number of changes to your account will occur. Please refer to MarkeTrade.com for the latest information.

1. Account Number: You will have a new account number issued by Penson. Please click the Account Number Conversion page or logon to your trading site to find your new account number.
2. Trading Platform: Except for the users of GTPro and InstaQuote, all users will change to a new trading platform. You can use your current User ID and Password to logon to the new trading platform. When you log in the first time, you will be able to change your password
3. Checkbook: If you currently have a money-market fund check writing privileges in your account, Penson will automatically re-issue you a new checkbook. Checks from the old checkbook will be honored for 30 days post conversion.
4. Debit Card: The old debit card will be deactivated five days prior to the conversion. If you would like to apply for a new debit card, you may download and submit the Scudder Fund Debit Card Application. (A $10,000 minimum account balance is required to debit card holders.)
5. Money Market Fund: If you have a money-market sweep account, your funds will be liquidated and transferred as cash to Penson. Penson will reinvest your cash with a comparable Scudder Money Market Fund. You may check the CCS and Penson mutual fund comparison about this fund. Foreign accounts are eligible to sweep to the Reich & Tang Daily Dollar International Fund.
6. Deposit and Withdraw Funds: Starting October 10, 2005, you will need to make check deposits payable to Penson Financial Services. A check payable to any other parties will be returned. Please write your new account number on your wire form or deposit check. Review Deposit Funds and Withdraw Funds for more information.
